Ghanaian Music Promoter is first to be killed by COVID-19 in Denmark

Reports reaching the desk of EnMoregh.com implies Mr Kwabena Maanu is Denmark’s first victim to be killed by the Novel Coronavirus.

This happened on Sunday 15th March 00:35 European time as revealed by Nana Adwoa Dwamenaa 1, known in our music industry as Agaqueen Jahsig.

The elderly patient at Copenhagen’s Herlev Hospital had already been admitted suffering from other illnesses. It is alleged he contracted the disease from hospital workers who were later sent home and isolated as well.

The 62 year old music promoter and business man was the first Ghanaian to own an African Shop and also introduce African music and culture to the danish people.

He was also the one who discovered Afro Moses amongst many and first to host legendary Reggae super star Bob Marley in Denmark.

Denmark has since recorded 1,225 cases, 9 deaths and 1 recovery as of 25th March, 2020.
