Grace Yalley, known by her stage name Kissys, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter born on April 29, 1999, in Dompim – Tarkwa, Ghana. She discovered her passion for singing at a young age and drew inspiration from her mother. Kissys attended Sekondi College for her high school education and graduated in 2016.
In 2021, Kissys had a breakthrough in her music career with the release of her debut single titled “Katapault.” The song garnered attention from her family and the local community, positioning her as a promising female artist. The music video for “Katapault” received airtime on major radio and TV stations in Ghana.
Additionally, Kissys participated in the Prime Studio reality show in 2020 and emerged as the First Runner Up on Joy Prime TV. Since 2020, she has released a total of five singles, including “Y3 Nko Di” and “Bambam” in 2022, “Y3 twa adaso” in 2022, and her latest release, “Sumomi,” in 2023.
Kissys finds motivation in bringing joy to people’s lives and being a voice for the underprivileged and marginalized in society. Currently, she operates as an independent artist, but she primarily records her songs at Short Recording Studio.
