“Senior High School placement for 2020/2021 will be merit based” – GES

Regardless of the distorted way of life of all and sundry across the world, parents and their wards are looking forward to getting admission for the latter into their choices of senior high schools after passing out of their respective junior high schools so as to be able to enjoy their share of the national cake by benefitting from the free SHS.

It is in view of this expectation that the Ghana Education Service has officially issued a statement to announce to the general public that preparations are far advanced for the release of the senior high school placement for the 2020/2021 academic year.

In a press release signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit – Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the Ghana Education Service cautioned parents, guardians, their wards, and the general public against fake groups and individuals who publish fake information related to the placement.

The Service as well reassures all guardians, parents and their wards that they are committed to ensuring the placements are merit based without distortion.
